Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the clinician administration portal for PIRI's Mood Booster programs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use which explain how PIRI collects, uses and discloses your personal information available at https://www.piri.org.au/privacy-policy/, which you should read before agreeing to these terms.

Before using or referring patients to the Mood Booster programs, please review these terms carefully. By registering as a clinician via the Mood Booster administration portal, you are entering into an agreement with us on these terms and conditions.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to a non-exclusive, non-transferrable license to use the Mood Booster clinician administration portal and refer your patients to the Mood Booster treatment programs. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:

  1. modify or copy the materials;
  2. use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on MumMoodBooster or Mum2BMoodBooster website;
  4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
  5. transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
  6. Ensure the websites are always protected from unauthorized access by third parties.
3. Benefits to Your Clients and Your Role

The clinician portal provides a referral pathway for patients suffering depression and anxiety either during pregnancy or after. When referring patients to use either MumMoodBooster (postnatal) or Mum2BMoodBooster (antenatal), please be aware of the following considerations:

  1. Informed Referral: It will be helpful to your client to inform them about the nature of the services offered on MumMoodBooster or Mum2BMoodBooster and ensuring that they understand the limitations and benefits of engaging with online mental health resources.
  2. Patient Suitability: MumMoodBooster has been evaluated and found highly effective for depression from mild to moderately severe depression. Use your professional judgment to assess whether your patient is suitable for the program. Consider factors such as the nature and severity of the patient's conditionand other complex issues that would not be addressed in this program (e.g., substance abuse), as well as their ability to engage effectively with remote services. Whilst we cannot provide crisis support, email alerts are sent to the patient if depression monitoring indicates that they are experiencing suicidal ideation or escalating depression. The email alert will advise her to speak to a health professional or contact a telephone support service, and that the program may not be sufficient for her needs. You will also be notified via email, for your information.
  3. Optional Follow-up and Monitoring: You can choose to maintain regular communication with your patients while they are engaging with MumMoodBooster or Mum2BMoodBooster. You can choose the degree of involvement and monitoring of your patient as they engage with the program by logging in to your Clinician Portal account at any time.

    Emails alerts are sent to your patient if depression monitoring indicates that their depression is escalating significantly, or they are having suicidal ideation. This will advise the patient to speak to a health professional or other support services, and that the program alone may not be sufficient for their needs. A copy of this email will be sent to you for your records.

  4. Usage of your account: Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized usage that occurs on your account. Please maintain and update the information you provide to ensure it is accurate at all times, keep passwords secure and only have one active account per clinician portal.
4. Disclaimer

The information provided in the Mood Booster programs has been created to provide information and education to assist women who are pregnant or have recently given birth to protect their mental health. While the Mood Booster programs may reduce depression symptoms in some people, PIRI and ORI and their staff make no claims that these programs will assist every parent.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PIRI be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you or a third party as a result of your use or an inability to use/access the clinician administration portal or the Mood Booster websites, its contents or any part of the Mood Booster programs.

6. Links
